Injury Prevention in Gardner, KS

Keep Training. Stay in the Game.

You worked hard to get back to full training. Ready to Perform is the ongoing support that keeps you there — reducing re-injury risk and preparing your body for real sport demands.

What Happens Without a Prevention Plan

The Same Issue Comes Back

Without a plan to reload and maintain tissue capacity, the same aches return every time you ramp up volume or intensity — right when it matters most.

Training Becomes Guesswork

Not knowing what your body can handle leads to second-guessing every heavy lift and every hard run. That hesitation chips away at performance over time.

Small Issues Become Bigger Ones

A nagging hip or a tight shoulder left unaddressed doesn't stay small. Stacked over a training season, minor patterns compound into injuries that take real time to fix.

What Our Clients Are Saying

Real results from athletes and active adults who made the switch to proactive care.

Micah has provided excellent care and follow-up for my injuries. He took the time to really listen to my concerns and help diagnose what was causing them and the best plan to help me not just treat the injury, but prevent it from coming back.

Micah Swank at Ready Physio is next level when it comes to helping you with your physical health needs. I personally came in with a workout injury to my chest that other doctors were not able to help me with. One reason I think Micah was able to help me is because he actually took the time to study what was causing my issues. He was able to explain my issue to me after some research and was able to educate me for any future issues I may have. If you have something you need help with, Micah will find a way to help you.
Seth Miller
Dr. Micah saw me on multiple occasions to help me work through a lower neck/trap strain. This strain was almost debilitating and preventing me from doing my job. While working with Micah, I was able to go from a 9/10, pain to a 0/10 and back to work with no restrictions. Micah’s focus, patience, and overall care will be why I continue to come back.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about Ready to Perform and how injury prevention works at Ready Physio? Here are the most common ones.

Is this only for people who've already been injured?

Not at all. Ready to Perform is designed for anyone who trains consistently and wants to stay healthy while doing it. Many clients start this program after completing a PT plan of care, but it's also a great fit for athletes who want proactive support before a problem develops.

How is this different from just doing more workouts?

Workouts build fitness. Ready to Perform builds capacity — specifically the tissue tolerance and movement quality your training demands. We assess what your body needs relative to what you're asking it to do, then build a plan around closing that gap.

How often do I need to come in?

It depends on your training load and goals. We'll talk through what makes sense during your evaluation. Some clients come in regularly through a heavy training block; others check in less frequently during maintenance phases.

Do I need to have been a Ready Physio PT client first?

No. If you're an athlete or active adult who wants performance-focused injury prevention support, we can start with an evaluation and build from there — whether or not you've worked with us before.

Do you take insurance for injury prevention sessions?

Ready Physio is cash-based, so we don't bill insurance directly for any services. We accept payment in full, installments, and HSA/FSA. Superbills are available for out-of-network submission.
