Running Physical Therapy in Gardner, KS
Built for Runners. Back to Running.
Runners come to us when knee pain, shin splints, hip tightness, or plantar issues keep interrupting training. We find what's actually driving it and build a plan to fix it at the source — one-on-one, every session.

What Happens When Running Pain Goes Unaddressed
The Cycle Doesn't Break Itself
Rest helps short-term, but without identifying why the issue keeps coming back, most runners end up repeating the same pattern — rest, return, re-aggravate.
Compensations Add Up
Running through pain or around it shifts load onto other structures. What starts as a knee issue often becomes a hip issue, an IT band issue, or something else further down the line.
Goals Get Pushed Further Back
Every race you scratch, every training block you cut short adds up. Getting ahead of the problem — not just managing it — is the only way to protect your long-term running.
Physical Therapy That Speaks Your Language
We don't just treat the ache — we look at your full training picture. Load, gait, mechanics, history. Then we build a plan that gets you back on the road and keeps you there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Questions about running physical therapy at Ready Physio? Here's what most runners want to know before their first visit.
Kansas allows direct access to physical therapy, so you don't need a physician referral to get started. You can book a free phone consult directly with Ready Physio and we'll get you evaluated and moving forward right away.
Running PT is focused on the demands of running specifically — gait mechanics, training load, and the lower extremity issues that runners deal with most. We use running gait analysis and form assessment alongside standard PT tools to build a plan matched to your training and race goals.
Not necessarily. The goal is to keep you running as much as your body can safely handle while we work on the underlying issue. We'll be clear about what load makes sense at each stage so you're never guessing about what's okay.
It depends on what's going on, how long it's been building, and your training demands. After your initial evaluation we'll give you a clear timeline and plan — no vague "come back until you feel better" approach. You'll know what to expect from the start.
Ready Physio is cash-based — we don't bill insurance directly. We accept payment in full and HSA/FSA. Superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement submission through your insurer.
